What do I get as a Friend of Anglotopia?
A Sunday Post from me every week — a proper long-read from Britain — plus every Anglotopia Podcast episode two days early, a printable British TV streaming calendar each month, access to the Anglotopia.chat forum, and 20% off everything in the Anglotopia store.
How often will I hear from you?
Roughly twice a week: the Sunday Post on Sundays, plus an early podcast episode mid-week. The TV calendar arrives near the end of each month for the month ahead.
Where do I read everything?
Everything arrives by email, and it all lives here on the members' site too, so you can catch up on past posts any time.
What is Anglotopia.chat?
Our private forum for members. It's where people swap TV tips, travel plans and Britain stories all week. Sign in with your member account.
How does the early podcast feed work?
When you join, you get a private podcast feed link tied to your membership. Add it to your podcast app and new episodes appear two days early. It stops working if you cancel.
Can I pay more than $6 a month or $64 a year?
Yes. Choose a Patron plan and set your own amount. Many Patrons choose $10 a month or $100 a year, and one generous Friend gives $100 a month.
Do I have to have an auto-renewal set up?
No. Auto-renew is on by default, but you can switch it off when you join or any time after. You'll get a reminder before your membership ends.
Do you store my card?
No. Payments are handled by Stripe through Memberful. I never see or store your card details.
Can I pay with a check?
At this time, no. If this interests you, please get in touch with us and let us know.
I wish to cancel; how do I do that?
Simply log in to your Friends of Anglotopia account here on Memberful - then cancel your subscription. You will have access until the end of the most recent billing period.
Can I gift a membership?
Yes! Gift memberships are available!
Can I pay more than $6 a month/$64 a year?
Yes, several people have selected this option. If you select Custom Plans when signing up you can choose a custom monthly amount or a custom yearly amount (the most popular is $10/month or $100/year). Someone even pledged $100/month!
How does the private podcast feed work?
Friends of Anglotopia Members get access to new episodes of the Anglotopia Podcast two days early. When you sign up, you'll be given a private RSS feed link that you can use in your preferred Podcast app (it is linked to your subscription and will stop working if you cancel). We will also send you an email with early release details so you can listen there as well.
How do I cancel?
Sign in, go to your account, and cancel your plan. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
